Baby Jane is One!

Baby Jane is back for her 1st birthday pictures!  And she is just as adorable as ever!  Her Grandma brought her in again, and we just had the best time playing with her...

What a little sweetie!

And here is the shot that we were dying to get!  Her 1st birthday party theme is "bees" - so we had to get some fun "bee" pictures.  I love these new flower poms in the studio - SO fun!  And isn't Jane a cutie?

Happy birthday, Jane!  Thanks for coming back to see me!  And Kathy - I can't wait for the granddaughter pics next month.  Yay! 

Benson @ 6 Months

I was so excited to see little Benson again!  He came all the way from Lincoln for his 6-month session, and is just as cute as a button.  So smiley and so happy!

Morgan & Karissa

Morgan was the lucky winner of a free mini session from Sidney's after-prom party, and so she and Karissa came last week for some fun shots together!  We had an awesome time - they are both so photogenic and just a lot of fun to work with.

Kristyn

Finally, some nice spring weather!  So I took advantage of it with Kristyn, a 14-year-old from Bayard.  She came to see me for some photographs to commemorate her confirmation.  I love the fun spring colors that we found in the park!

And here she is in her confirmation dress...  (all three of her older sisters have also worn this exact same dress for their confirmations - what a great tradition!)

I kept telling her during our session, "WOW - you have amazing eyes!"  And doesn't she?  She definitely doesn't look like she's 14!  :)

And I love her smile!

Brayden & Cooper

It was another icky, windy, cold spring day outside!  But Brayden and Cooper and I had a great time in the studio on the morning of our session.  I've been photographing Brayden for years now, but this is only the 2nd time I've had Cooper in front of my camera.  Both of these boys are just adorable!

Here's Brayden - who was such a ham.  He kept getting in front of my camera and posing, and I just went with it! 

And Cooper, who is 9 months old now.  And all.over.the.place.  :)  He kept us very busy that morning!  What a cutie!

I just love this shot.  It was the very end of our session together, and both boys were just *done*.  And then, what-do-you-know, they both look over and just smile!  :)  Sometimes it just all works out just right! 

Thanks, Sabine, for bringing the boys back to see me.  It was so good to see you again!  I can't wait for Cooper's one-year pics in a few months - let's hope for better weather than this time.  Take care, and see you again real soon. 

My Muse...

Every artist has a muse...  Well, this little girl has been mine, ever since she came to me as a newborn!  And can you believe that little Lyric is already 2 1/2?  And she's just as beautiful as ever.  I couldn't wait for our session together, and of course, the weather did not cooperate with their travel plans.  But we had a great time in the studio together (and made plans for her to visit again this summer when the weather is better). 

I have SO many favorites from this session.  I love them all!

Thanks, Allyson!  You don't know how much fun I had during our session together!  You definitely need to bring her back more often.  Can't wait to get together again this summer - I'm hoping to catch you while I'm in Omaha later this month.  Otherwise, we'll wait until you come back later in the summer!  See you again soon.  Be sure to give Lyric a hug from her favorite photographer!  ;)
