Baby Claire

What a tiny, sweet baby girl!  Baby Claire came from Cheyenne for her newborn pictures last week, and it was so good to see her and her family.  I've been their family photographer since Miss Grace was a baby, and it's been so fun to watch their family grow.  And grow again.  :) 

Little Miss Claire was not too excited about having her pictures taken.  So when I saw this shot, I just had to laugh - she sure told us exactly how she felt! 

And another adorable face!  How cute is that expression?

Congratulations, Kelly and Jeremy!  Miss Claire is a beautiful new addition to your family.  Thank you so much for bringing her to Sidney for her newborn pictures - it was wonderful seeing you and the kids again.  I always enjoy our sessions together.  It has been such an honor to be your photographer over the years! 

*PS - you wouldn't have guessed it from these sweet little pictures of Claire, but she goes down in history at KHP for having the most "accidents" in one session.  Even more than the triplets I photographed earlier this year.  Yes, this little girl's plumbing WORKS!  We had plenty of laughs during our session - thanks, Claire!  :) 

Sweet Home Alabama!

As many of you know, I made a last-minute trip to Alabama with Darren a couple weeks ago.  HIs mom was just diagnosed with brain cancer - so we "quickly" made the 27-hour drive to go see her.  We had a lovely visit that week, and even made it down to the beach one evening for a photo session!  I love all the shots that we got - what beautiful memories...

Carson and Anthony are THREE!

First off, I have to say that this session was one of the most challenging of my career.  And *not* because it was three-year-old twin boys!  It was because it was three-year-old twin boys AND I had NO voice.  I had completely lost my voice due to a bad case of bronchitis, and so things were very interesting.  Can you imagine how this session went?  I was trying to make them laugh and smile, and all I could do to communicate with them was hand guestures and facial expressions!  Craziness, I tell you! 

BUT!  I am SO excited about all the images we got - they turned out amazing.  So I'm thinking... maybe I should just start pretending that I don't have a voice at sessions?  I might be on to something here...  Hmmm...

Can you tell they are twins here?  ;)  I'm loving that they are both are doing the exact same "tongue thing".  So funny!

And this shot is what I'd like to call my "Gap Ad."  Don't they look like little models in a Gap advertisement?

At the end of our session together, we brought out all the boys' tractors and just let them play.  I just love these shots - they are SO "Carson and Anthony". 

Thank you so much, Jaci, for bringing the boys back again!  It has been so much fun to photograph them - can't believe that it's been three years since we met during your maternity session.  Wow!  The boys are just as cute as ever.  Can't wait until next time!

Baby Drake @ 6 Months!

Oh, you've just got to see this little man!  He's such a cute little chubba-wubba!  Gotta love the baby rolls - and Drake has them.  You wouldn't even know from these pictures that he wasn't quite feeling well that day.  (It turns out he was coming down with RSV, and we didn't know it.  Poor little guy.)

And here is baby Drake with his big brother, Jacob.  I just love these little boys so much!  Jacob was pretty upset that he just got to come to the studio that day - he wanted to come play with the girls at my house.  ;)

Love this one!  I got this new hat in Las Vegas this year at a photography conference, and Drake was my little model. 

OK, who doesn't love this face?  So funny!  Love, love, love.  And those big blue eyes!!

Drake also brought his favorite toy frog with him.  At the end of the session, we were just packing up and calling it a day, and he started playing with his toy.  I couldn't help but grab a few shots, and I love this series.  So fun!

 

Thanks, Mike and Jaimie, for bringing Drake for his 6-month pictures!  I'm so glad that he is a Baby Plan baby - it's so fun to watch him grow throughout his first year.  I love all the family pictures that we got too.  And of course, it's always great to see my little man, Jake.  I love him to pieces!  :)  Take care, and see you again soon!

Linnea @ Six Months

It just doesn't get any better than this!  Little Linnea is one of my Baby Plan babies, and it is such a joy to get to see her again.  And what a happy, happy baby!  I don't think I even have one photo of her where she is not smiling ear to ear.  Now *that* is what I call AMAZING!

Grayson is 9 Months!

First of all, I'd like to say a big "thank you" to all of my clients that have been so patient with me over the past couple weeks.  I had to take an emergency trip to Alabama, and have been out of the studio for almost two weeks.  I got a lot done on the road, but I still feel like I am SO behind.  So... thanks for everyone's patience while I get back in the swing of things!!  :)

Little Grayson is one of my "Baby Planners", and he's back for his 9-month pictures.  He has grown like a weed in the past 9 months - I really can't believe that he's still a "baby" because he looks like a little boy!  And what a cutie too...

I just love this shot - because it really shows off those big blue eyes and those sweet little baby teeth!

I just had this hat made for the studio - and I'm loving it!  So cute!  (Thanks to Jenni for her awesome skills in making this new prop...)

We've taken Grayson's picture on this white chair at each of his sessions this year.  It's been so much fun to see how much he grows each time!
