Brandi + Mike

What an adorable couple!  Truly!  

I've known Mike for several years now - I photographed his senior pictures - way back when - and now his engagement pictures with his fiance, Brandi.  And I can't wait to photograph their wedding in September!  It is such an honor to photograph so many special moments in a person's life...

It was a rare, gorgeous winter day when I met with Brandi and Mike for their engagment session - I have so many favorites!

Lyric!

I'm sure you all remember my little muse, Miss Lyric...  I've been photographing this little beauty since she was just a newborn, and each and every time I can get her in front of my camera - I take advantage of the opportunity!  This time, it was FREEZING outside, so we had a pretty quick little session together.  But still had a blast.  :)

Thanks, Allyson and Brandon - for coming to see me!  I wish our weather had been a little bit warmer!  We'll have to get back together this summer so we have a little more time to play.  (And I promise I won't be "baby sick" by then!!)  I have SO many fun summer ideas for Lyric...  :)

Koehn is One!

Wow - so sorry that I've been absent from my blog for a while!  This month has been crazy - with the holidays, a quick trip to Texas, and then an awful sinus infection - life has been challenging...

I've been so excited to work on these pictures of little Koehn's 1st birthday.  It's been so much fun photographing all 3 of these siblings throughout the years - it seems like yesterday I was photographing his big sister's newborn pictures, and now baby #3 is turning one.  Eeeek!

Grady is 6 Months!

I was actually giddy for this session!  After Grady's awesome newborn shoot 6 months ago, I was just TOO excited for his 6 month pictures.  And of course, Grady was just as adorable now as he was then.  I just can't get over all his hair!  And his big blue eyes!  And all those long eyelashes!   *sigh*  what. a. doll.

I had way too many favorites from this session...  Lots to share!

Thanks, Hayley!  It was so good seeing you and Grady again!  I had a blast with y'all, and now I am even MORE excited for the next time he comes to see me!  Hope Grady has an amazing 1st Christmas!!  Enjoy every minute of it!  

Another Great Family

It's been a few years since I've photographed this lovely family, so it was quite a shock to see how much Trenton has grown!  I think the last time I saw him he was a tiny baby, and now he is "all growed up"!  It was a cold December day, but we made the most of the weather and shot most of the session outdoors.  You know me - I just love outdoors so much!  :)

Boys!

What a cute family of boys (well, and one beautiful mama!)  And Julie certainly has her hands full with these cuties. They came for their session on the COLDEST day of the year - I think the high was 10 degrees. So... needless to say, most of their session was done indoors.  They are all so photogenic - it was hard to pick my favorites!

Chilly Morning on the Farm!

Brrrrr!  It was only about 30 degrees for this chilly morning photoshoot at the family farm.  But Zak, Emilee and Lilee are old pros at getting their pictures taken by me, so we finished up the session before anyone got too cold!

I love the outfits that Rachel picked for their session - so fun and festive!  Love the colors!

Mommy + Daddy + Baby Quinn = LOVE!

Love these new shots of baby Quinn and her little family...  You probably remember Miss Quinn from my blog - I've photographed her several times in the past year and a half, and she has stolen a big chunk of my heart.  What a doll!  She is just ALWAYS such a joy to photograph.  (And her mom is super fun too!)

Amid all the holiday and family sessions that have consumed my days in the past couple months, I was able to switch gears and shoot a 2012 senior!  Alex was recovering from surgery earlier this year, so he had to wait to do his senior pictures until now.  What a fun change of pace for me!  And I love all the shots that we got...

What more can I say, besides "I LOVE this session?"  Of course, it is always fun to photograph good friends, so I was more than excited to shoot Taryn and Ryan's little family.  I was a little worried because all the leaves were gone from the trees and the scenery was pretty "wintery", but Taryn rocked this session with her fun clothing choices!  And I am in loooooove with so many of their pics - it was impossible to choose favorites!
