The Jacobsons

I've been looking forward to this session for almost a year now!!  I've been working out with my trainer, Lee, for over a year, and this is his wonderful family.  They were all so much fun to work with... SO photogenic!  And of course, it was fun for me to actually get to be the boss around Lee for once!  :)

I love this family shot with the sun streaming in behind them...

Thanks, Angie and Lee, for allowing me to photograph your family!  What a beautiful (but freezing) morning, too.  I really enjoyed our session together, and I LOVE all the shots that we got.  Your family is just so photogenic! 

This session was my last session right before I got so sick... In fact, I ended up in the ER with a 104 fever just 8 hours after this session!  Yikes.  And of course, I'm going on over 2 weeks of being sick - I just can't kick this bug.  A huge thanks to all my wonderful customers, who have been so patient with me as I get caught up.  I am turning out sessions and designing Christmas cards like crazy!  There is still time to get your Christmas cards ordered, but do it fast...  :)  Tis the season!! 

Alec, Ben & Sarah

I have really enjoyed photographing this family throughout the years...  First, there was just Alec.  Then Ben came along...  And now Miss Sarah has joined the crew!  And they are all such cuties. 

Here is Alec, the big brother.  He's ALWAYS been into football, and so we always incorporate football into his session.  Here is his "tough guy" look...

And sweet little Ben...  He had a tough time warming up to the studio, and he didn't want to let go of his blanket.  So we just rolled with it, blankie and all!

Here's sweet baby Sarah, who has to be one of the happiest babies I've photographed.  She was SO good.  Just look at that precious smile, and of course, I'm loving the chunky little legs.  :) 

Thanks, Monica, for bringing the kids in again this year!  I always enjoy our sessions together!  It got a little crazy at times, but what fun memories...  :)  Take care, and talk to you soon. 

Lyndi is Back!

I couldn't wait to get little Lyndi back in the studio again!  She is 3 months old now, and what a doll...  You might remember her newborn photos from a few months ago - she was adorable then, and now she's got a sweet smile to show off!

And you know that I can't resist a sweet little thumb-sucker!  I love her beautiful brown eyes in this shot.

And can you believe all that hair?!?  I am so jealous! 

Thanks, Amanda and Zach, for bringing little Lyndi back to see me!  What a beautiful (and sweet) baby you have!  Now, I'm already getting excited for her next pictures.  :)  I'm so glad that she's on my baby plan, and I get to see her grow during this first year.  Give her big hugs from me!

Chase Jacob

What a sweet baby boy!  Baby Chase was only 2 weeks old when he came to the studio for his newborn pictures... all the way from Steamboat Springs, CO!  I have been photographing his big brother Brady since he was a newborn, and now little Chase.  I just love this family!

Oh, how sweet...

And of course, here is big brother Brady!  What a little ball of fire!  He has grown up so much, and is just as cute as ever.

Thanks, Shane and Shelley, for bringing the boys back to see me!  I always have such a great time during our sessions.  I am so honored that you traveled all the way to Sidney for Chase's newborn pictures.  Can't wait until I get to see the boys again! 

Isaac

Little Isaac is back for his 6 month pictures!  And my, oh my, how he has grown in the past 6 months...  This little guy is not so little!  What a cutie...  Here is Isaac with his big sister, Aubrey.  I remember back to when I was taking Aubrey's newborn pictures - I can't believe she's the big sister now.

And that smile!!  What a happy baby!

Ali, Kate and Abby

I just couldn't love these three little girls any more!!  I've been best friends with their mom for years now, and I've watched them grow up over the past several years.  And they just happen to be best friends with my girls, so I feel like they are my own daughters... 

It was SUCH a cold morning for pictures, and our session ended up being one of my shortest sessions in history!  I think we were all done within 20 minutes!  But of course, these girls are so photogenic that we got way more pictures than normal...  I normally am such a fan of black and white, but the color in these is so pretty!  Who would have thought that dead grass would photograph so well? 

Here is sweet little Abby Jo... She is such a kind, gentle soul.  She always has a hug and a kiss waiting for you - what a sweetie.

And Kate-Kate, who is always full of laughs (and probably a little mischief)!  I love her spirit!

And here's Miss Ali, who just lost her two front teeth!  I love it!  I personally think that all kids should get photographed when they are missing their front teeth - it is SUCH a cute time in their life.  :)

Thanks, Angie, for letting me kidnap your girls for the morning so I could photograph them!  We had so much fun, as usual.  And how much fun for you, since all of these photos will be such a surprise.  Love you all!! xoxo

Darby

What a beautiful fall day, and what a fun session!  I have been looking forward to getting Darby in front of my camera since she was born, and it finally worked out for her 1 year pictures.  She was visiting her grandparents for the weekend, and we couldn't have had a more beautiful (and unseasonably warm) day...

We started out in the studio first.  I just love this little "attitude" shot of Miss Darby.  What a cutie!

Then we headed outside to take advantage of the weather.  Look at those beautiful blue eyes!

And one of my favorites...  I just love love love those eyes! 

Thanks, Amy (and Dixie), for allowing me to photograph little Darby!  I had such a great time at our session together.  I'm so excited for you to see all the pictures...

And thanks to all my customers who have been so incredibly patient with me over the past couple weeks.  I have been sick and out of the studio for what seems like forever, but hopefully now I'm finally getting a little better and I'm back at work!  Whew!  Keep an eye on the blog - I'll be catching up now and I'll be posting more soon...  Again, thanks for everyone's patience with me!  :) 

Colton & Jacob

Oh, what a fun family session at their house!  I couldn't wait to photograph these boys again - it's been a couple years since I've had them in front of my camera.  And they are just as cute (and fun) as ever!

Here are the boys... Colton and Jacob.  I love their matching "snaggle-tooth smiles".

Here's Colton...  Want to know what he's laughing about?  Well, his brother had just given me a "credit card swipe"!  Now THAT is funny!  I love sessions like this, where I can laugh and just be a kid again!

And Jacob, who I got tons of smiles from, but I just love this "sweet" face of his...

And of course, we got some great family pictures too.  What a beautiful family! 

Thanks, Shelly and David, for having me out to your home and allowing me to photograph your family.  I had such a great time with y'all - the boys have grown up so much since last time!  Thanks for all the laughs...  You made my day!

Zak, Emilee & Lilee

Just look at how cute Rachel's (my assistant) kids are!  We kind of threw this session for them in at the last minute...  We were waiting for a day with nice weather, and we finally got it.  I met them all out at their farm, and we got some great shots! 

I had to show a full-body shot of little Lilee - check out this darling little outfit!

And Zak, who is growing up way too fast...

Here's Emilee, who was excited when I told her that this pose is called the "teenager" pose.  She was all about that!

Fun Outdoor Session

This time of year, you can never count on the weather for photo sessions.  Just yesterday it was warm and sunny out, and now today it is snowing and icky!  But this November session was on a day with beautiful (although a little chilly) weather.  And what a fun family!!

Here are Zoe and Mozelle - it's been almost 4 years since I've photographed them, and we had a blast! 

 

And I love this shot of the girls with their mom...  Aren't they a beautiful bunch?
